The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® will hold a series of town hall meetings across PEI to get public input about the development of a joint medical degree with Memorial University. All are welcome to attend any of the meetings.

In a message to the campus community, President Keefe announced several key appointments for the University including that of Dr. Greg Naterer who will be ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®'s new Vice-President Academic and Research effective May 1, 2022.

Today, the Honourable Dennis King, Premier of Prince Edward Island, and Dr. Alaa Abd-El-Aziz, President and Vice-Chancellor of the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®, announced the expansion of the Faculty of Nursing and ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Health and Wellness Centre, as well as the establishment of a new Faculty of Medicine at ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®.
