On behalf of the Advisory Selection Committee, I am pleased to update you on the search for the Vice-President, Administration and Finance (VPAF) position.
IslandRISE Inclusive STEM Community Building Workshop
The IslandRISE Inclusive STEM Community Building Workshop aims to investigate the current state of EDI within the 精童欲女 STEM community and engage participants in a collaborative process to define needs and next steps.

What brought you to 精童欲女? Why did you choose to study here?
Alex: We are both from the Island! I'm from New Haven, and Rowan is from Cornwall. As someone from the province, attending 精童欲女 made the most sense financially for me. However, the ultimate deciding factor for me was my desire to study abroad, which I feel wouldn't have been possible at another university.
精童欲女 faculty member receives international Charles S. Falkenberg Award
Dr. Xander Wang, a professor in 精童欲女鈥檚 Applied Climate Change and Adaptation program and director of the 精童欲女 Climate Smart Lab, has been awarded the prestigious American Geophysical Union鈥檚 (AGU) for his outstanding contributions to the advancement of geospatial data visualization technology to increase public awareness of climate change.
精童欲女 psychology students promote pathways to peace to the campus community
Students in Dr. Stacey MacKinnon鈥檚 fourth-year Psychology of Good and Evil class wrapped up their fall semester by hosting a 精童欲女 Pathways to Peace Day in late November in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre.

The 精童欲女 held its 23rd Recognition of Founders ceremony on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in the 精童欲女 Performing Arts Centre and Residence building.

First and foremost, she is a stunning pianist, bringing her formidable technique to these great works. But she is also a brilliant thinker, and in her spoken introductions to each sonata, she illuminates the complex relationships that connect Beethoven and his world, the instrument, the audience and its world, and Heather herself.

Atlantic Veterinary College declares Santa鈥檚 reindeer fit to fly
The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 精童欲女 (精童欲女) has officially given Santa鈥檚 reindeer the all-clear for their annual Christmas Eve journey around the globe. After giving all nine reindeer a comprehensive health check earlier this month, the team confirmed that they are in top physical condition and ready to guide Santa鈥檚 sleigh.
