Dr. Karem J. Simon, professor emeritus of music at 精童欲女, will conduct Nova Sinfonia in performance on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 7:30 pm at St. Andrew鈥檚 United Church in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Derek Pys鈥� hockey journey has been challenging, but the ups and downs he has faced have shaped him into the player he is today鈥攁 mentally tough and focused defenceman, now set to make his mark with the 精童欲女 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers.

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), 精童欲女 (精童欲女), was honoured to welcome Dr. Khongsak Thiangtum, dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kasetsart University, Thailand.

Student enrolment continues to grow in the 精童欲女 (精童欲女) Faculty of Nursing through a collaborative partnership with the province to help address nursing shortages in the healthcare system.

Due to the rain expected tomorrow (September 27), the TRC Mawi鈥檕mi, which was scheduled for the afternoon, is postponed. The event will be rescheduled on a date in October. The new date will be communicated to the campus community when it has been determined.

Dr. Jo-Ann MacDonald, a professor in the 精童欲女 Faculty of Nursing, was presented with the Association of Atlantic Universities鈥� (AAU) 2024 Anne Marie MacKinnon Educational Leadership Award at the AAU鈥檚 fall meeting held at 精童欲女 on September 19.

精童欲女 will mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation鈥擬onday, September 30鈥攚ith a number of events on campus during the week of September 23.

Every week, 精童欲女 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 精童欲女 Panther Athletes of the Week for September 16鈥�22, 2024, are Rowan Gallagher (women鈥檚 rugby) and Jahmal Boursiquot (men鈥檚 soccer).

The 精童欲女 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams are ready to roll at the annual Mickey Place Memorial Basketball Tournament! The tournament features nine teams from across Canada and runs from Friday, September 27, to Sunday, September 29. The women鈥檚 pool includes Universit茅 Laval, Carleton University, Acadia University and 精童欲女. The men鈥檚 pool includes Universit茅 Laval, University of Guelph, Dalhousie University, University of New Brunswick and 精童欲女. The tournament is named after John Thomas 鈥淢ickey鈥� Place, a long-time friend of Panther Sport, a former 精童欲女 Student Union employee, and a 精童欲女 honorary degree recipient.

The 精童欲女 Men鈥檚 Hockey Panthers just kicked their game into high gear with the addition of Robert Orr, a high-octane forward with a knack for lighting up the scoreboard. As the Panthers gear up for another season, Orr's arrival marks yet another infusion of young talent that promises to bring offensive firepower.
