The 精童欲女 is proud to announce that Shannon Gillis-Atkins will be the first Panther rugby representative to be inducted into the 精童欲女 Sports Hall of Fame. This prestigious honour recognizes Gillis-Atkins for her outstanding contributions to the sport during her time from 1992鈥2015.

After 25 seasons with the 精童欲女 Panthers, men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 soccer coach Lewis Page is set to begin a new chapter with the Halifax Tides FC. The soccer team is a founding club in the Northern Super League, which is committed to excellence in women鈥檚 professional soccer in Canada.

Three people connected to 精童欲女 have been named to the Order of PEI, the province鈥檚 highest civilian honour. Kathryn Dau-Schmidt, Dr. Edward MacDonald and Reginald 鈥淒utch鈥 Thompson were selected for the Order of PEI from a field of 49 nominees. They will receive the insignia from Her Honour, Lieutenant-Government Antoinette Perry during a ceremony at Government House this fall.

The University is excited to announce that the Rathlyn Foundation has donated $1 million to create entrance scholarships for every 精童欲女-based medical student in their first year of study. The announcement comes just as the admissions portal opens for the first cohort of students at Memorial University's regional campus at 精童欲女.

Members of the 精童欲女 community came out in large numbers to attend a barbecue on Monday, June 24 at the 精童欲女 Chaplaincy Centre to celebrate inclusion and hospitality.
