Our book this winter will be Towards Braiding. We're going to move quickly through this slim volume starting in February and then move on to a workbook called Stamina for Decolonizing Higher Education. We're planning to meet from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on April 12 and May 8鈥

3MT is a competition for graduate students in which participants present their research and its wider impact in three minutes or less to a panel of non-specialist judges. The winner of the 精童欲女 3MT Competition moves on to鈥
This session is designed to prepare colleagues to review teaching dossiers as part of the tenure and promotions process at 精童欲女. We touch on applicable clauses from the collective agreement, consider elements from EDI training, and discuss how to think about and assess teaching contributions. There鈥
This year鈥檚 MacLauchlan Panther Pitch will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The live pitching event will take place from 4:00 to 6:15 pm in the Alex H. MacKinnon Auditorium, Don and Marion McDougall Hall, Room 242. The Panther Pitch finalists will pitch their ideas to the judges and live鈥
On Tuesday, April 9, the 精童欲女 Jazz and Popular Music Ensemble will present a night of music titled "Under the Moon." The show begins at 7:30 pm on the SDU stage at the 精童欲女 Steel Recital Hall.

All students are invited to attend an information session on the 精童欲女 Faculty of Medicine. A presentation will be followed by a Q&A with Dr. Preston Smith, Dean of 精童欲女 Faculty of Medicine, and representatives from admissions, clinical learning and simulation, and anatomy.
The 精童欲女 Concert Choir and Chamber Singers will perform an evening of choral music on Saturday, April 6, at the SDU Stage, Dr. Steel Recital Hall. Under the direction of Sung Ha Shin-Bouey, the ensembles will perform Christopher Tin鈥檚 Sogno di Volare, an inspirational theme song鈥

Join librarians Courtney Matthews and Kim Mears for a Lunch and Learn session focused on Open Educational Resources (OERs) and some alternatives for licensing Indigenous OERs. They'll start with the larger OER conversation and how OERs benefit students and the academy, share resources for finding鈥
Under the direction of Dr. Nicole Strum, the 精童欲女 Wind Symphony will perform traditional and contemporary works for winds and percussion by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Ron Nelson, Ferdinand David, Joni Greene, and Joanne Harris. The concert features Jacob Reddin, trombone soloist.
