The Department of Biomedical Sciences is seeking a sessional instructor to assist in delivery of the following course to first-year veterinary students during the Fall 2024 semester. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Macroscopic Anatomy I (VBS 1010)

Responsibilities for this position include presentation of lectures in canine anatomy, leading dry lab sessions, and assisting with other aspects of course administration.Ìý

Responsibilities for this position include teaching dissection-based laboratories in canine anatomy (six hours per week).

The successful candidate will work as part of a team in the teaching laboratory, to assist students in dissection and answer questions about basic and applied anatomy.

Applicants must hold a DVM and/or graduate degree (MSc or higher, in anatomy or a related field).Ìý Preference will be given to those with teaching experience in gross anatomy, but those with evidence of effective teaching in related fields will also be considered.Ìý

Priority will be given to members of the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® sessional Roster for the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
