Know Your HIV Status
精童欲女 is the first university in the country to launch , a project working to eradicate HIV in Canada.
The study is sharing HIV聽self-testing kits聽and asking questions from the people who will use them so they can learn how to improve HIV testing and care in Canada.聽 Participation in "I'm Ready" is anonymous, and you control your own pathway through the program. You will have access to a self-test and information and support.

Once you have downloaded the聽I鈥檓 Ready,聽Test聽mobile app, you鈥檒l be asked to:
- Consent to be part of the program,聽create a profile, and聽answer a pre-test聽survey.
- Choose to have聽up to three聽self-test kits delivered to聽your home or another聽address, or聽opt to pick up聽a single kit聽at any one of our pickup locations (精童欲女 Health and聽Wellness Centre). If you already have a kit, continue to step聽#3.聽
- Once you have your self-test kit, open your聽I鈥檓 Ready, Test聽app聽again.聽You鈥檒l then聽follow the聽steps聽in the app and聽use聽the test kit鈥檚 instructions聽to take the self-test;聽
- When聽you鈥檙e completed the test,聽you鈥檒l聽record your result in the app anonymously and continue on in the app to access more information to keep you healthy by treating or preventing HIV.聽
We鈥檒l also send you follow-up surveys through the app to聽ask聽about where you鈥檙e at and whether you鈥檝e accessed聽.听听
You can pick up test kits from the registered nurse at the Health and Wellness Centre.
