Duy Anh Nguyen, a Master of Science student in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Trung Dung Ngo, professor of robotics and intelligent systems, received the Best Student Paper Award during the 16th IEEE/SICE International Symposium on System Integration.

Dr. Marya Ahmed, associate professor of chemistry at 精童欲女, has received a total of $180,000 for a project to improve the prolonged storage of human tissues and genetic material.

Vagabond Productions will present Radium Girls by D.W. Gregory from March 13鈥16, 2024, in the theatre in the 精童欲女 Performing Arts Centre. The doors open at 7:00 pm for a 7:30 pm curtain. Admission is 鈥減ay-what-you-can.鈥

Tara MacLean, renowned PEI singer-songwriter and author of the best-selling memoir, Song of the Sparrow, will give a聽talk and read from her memoir in conversation with Dr. Richard Lemm, professor of English, on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 7:00 pm in the 精童欲女 Performing Arts Centre. She will also lead a memoir writing workshop, 鈥淲riting with Ghosts鈥擜 Guide to Excavating Memories,鈥 on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 9:30 am鈥1:30 pm in SDU Main Building, Room 213, on the 精童欲女 campus.
