Duffy Science Centre

Duffy Science Centre opened in 1966 after a donation was received from Dr. St. Clair Duffy of Kinkora to assist in the construction of a new science building.聽 It houses both the Biology and the Physics Departments. In 2004, a Greenhouse was added that is being used for research on wild roses.

The Duffy Science Centre underwent a major renewal in 2005 to better serve the requirements of the Faculty of Science.聽 The work consisted of revising the building鈥檚 layout and a full upgrade of the building鈥檚 mechanical and electrical systems. A new larger elevator was also installed. This revitalized facility provides students with first-class learning facilities and enables faculty in the Biology and Physics departments to carry out their research programs in modern, thematically designed laboratories.
