University of Osijek
The University of Osijek was founded on 31 May 1975, after the Croatian Parliament had previously adopted a Decision on granting consent for the establishment of the University on 26 March 1975. The University of Osijek is composed of 14 faculties. The University implements functional integration based on the unified and coordinated operation of all scientific and artistic components and infrastructure institutions.The university is particularly proud of the fact that it operates in the city where Nobel Prize winners Lavoslav Ru啪i膷ka and Vladimir Prelog.
