The north2north (n2n) mobility program is a program connecting universities around the northern hemisphere in providing opportunities to study in different parts of the North. Experience life in another North country by studying at another north2north partner university! Universities and colleges throughout Denmark, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Canada, the United States, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, France, and Scotland participate in the north2north program.

There are a wide number of universities available through the north2north program.

Deadlines

There are typically calls for applications in both early fall and early spring. 

Applications for winter semester scholarships opened Aug 16 and have a deadline of September 15, 2024.

Norwegian funding - Norway typically runs their scholarships separately. Information on dates and deadlines are on the north2north webpage.

Courses

Through the north2north program, you would choose and attend a north2north partner university and take classes there as an exchange student.

Accommodation

While abroad, you will be in charge of your own accommodation. Some universities offer on-campus accommodation, and some require you to locate off-campus housing.

Visa

You will be expected to get a visa or study permit for the semester abroad in the country you choose to study in.

Health Insurance

You鈥檒l be expected to have health insurance/coverage for your time abroad. You will be covered during your time abroad if you have the 精童欲女 SU health coverage plan.

Other

This program has SO many partner schools to choose from. They are treated similarly to the partner schools we have on our 精童欲女 study abroad page - you pay home tuition while studying abroad. The n2n program gives a wider range of choice and location for those interested in a partner school in the North.
