After completing a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Design Engineering at ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®'s Cairo Campus, Fahad Williams Umaru joined ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®'s MBA in Global Leadership program.

Arjun, a fifth-year computer science student at ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®, travelled to Finland in 2024 for a semester abroad.

Third-year biology students Alex and Rowan travelled to Córdoba, Spain during a study abroad trip from February to June, 2024.

¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Bachelor of Science in Nursing students Amelia Jenkins, Abby Kinch, Teasha McPhee, and Niloufar Sedighpoor recently completed a survey of students living in residence as part of their fall semester 2024 Population Health course.

Sustainable Design Engineering students Ben Keizer, Tung Nguyen, SoumyaDeep Chowdhury, and Luke McCarvill and their TrashTech project centres around developing a reduction-focused domestic waste management product. It aims to conduct waste classification using machine vision, weight sensing, and meaningful data communication to users through a web application, much like Fitbit’s functionality and related smartphone application.

Sustainable Design Engineering student team members Lauren Daigle, Christian D'Entremont, Ben MacEachern, Josh McIsaac, and Owen Stewart worked with Parks Canada to design of a user-friendly display for the electric pedestals at campsites to inform campers of their energy consumption.

Student team members Remi Antoun, James Campbell, Chukwuma "Prince" Ezeilo, and Huy "Alvin" Nguyen worked with the Abegweit First Nation to solve the ongoing challenge of transforming wind-damaged forests into productive blueberry crops while safeguarding the suitability of the land for wild blueberry cultivation.
