The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Office of Commercialization, Industry, and Innovation (OCII) held a successful research networking day on Thursday, October 17, in the Performing Arts Centre and Residence.
Four ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® researchers have received funding from PEI’s 2024 Climate Challenge Fund: Dr. Kuljeet Grewal, Dr. Stephanie Shaw, and Dr. Yulin Hu, all of the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering, and Dr. Xander Wang, School of Climate Change and Adaptation.
Dr. Margie Burns, an assistant professor in the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Faculty of Nursing, is leading a research study about the experiences of Two-Spirit, transgender, gender-diverse, and non-binary (2STGD+) people seeking and accessing gender-affirming health care on PEI/Epekwitk.
Seventeen ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® researchers are included in the latest edition of the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% of Scientists List, which provides a nuanced picture of scholarly influence, measuring both career-long achievements and single-year impacts.
