Professional Development Group Packages
The ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development offers week-long, intensive professional development group packages for businesses, not-for-profits, governmental organizations, Indigenous organizations, and others.
There is a growing demand for professional development and upskilling in a very fluid and demanding job market, as organizations and groups look for professional development for their employees in a group, team-building setting.
These packages are pre-crafted, but the OCEPD is happy to customize these packages to ensure your organization’s professional development needs are met and exceeded. These packages allow a group of employees to spend five days immersed in an environment designed for optimal professional development and ensure any other needs for those organizations are met.

By having your group take part in the OCEPD’s intensive weeklong professional development packages, not only do your employees experience the finest professional development available on Prince Edward Island and Atlantic Canada, but they are able to do so in an environment conducive to maximized retention of knowledge, theories and skills conveyed. Also, by being together for five days, there is an obvious team-building quality to the professional development, which is invaluable to internal growth within an organization. This professional development can take your group to the next tier of knowledge and service.
"My colleagues and I had a wonderful training opportunity with the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®. We expressed our unique training needs for our positions such as Social Workers, Peer Support Workers, Client Service Officers and Managers. ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® provided us with a holistic training opportunity whereby all training needs were met as well as offered a fantastic cultural experience with an elder, and a visit to a First Nation Reserve (Lennox Island) where we learned how to make traditional drums. The training was very interactive and fun! I highly recommend ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® for any continuing professional development needs."
