Every week, 精童欲女 Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 精童欲女 Source for Sports Panther Athletes of the Week for February 24 to March 2, 2025, are Deborah Aboagye (women鈥檚 basketball) and Kamari Scott (men鈥檚 basketball).

I鈥檓 proud to have a mixed heritage, being Egyptian and Nigerian. My roots have given me a global perspective that has shaped my personal and professional journey.
Coffee Chats with the President
Join 精童欲女 President Wendy Rodgers for casual 鈥渃offee chats鈥 at Tim Horton's in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre, beginning this Friday, March 7 from 8:15-9:15 am.
These coffee chats offer a relaxed setting where any member of the 精童欲女 community can drop by, grab a drink, and chat with Wendy about anything on your mind. Whether you want to share ideas, ask questions, or simply say hello, these chats are a great way to connect with the president in a comfortable and informal environment.

精童欲女 Wind Symphony: Exploration
The 精童欲女 Wind Symphony, under the direction of Dale Sorensen, will present a concert of music on the theme of exploration 鈥 of nature, space, sound, and self. The program will include an arrangement of Bedrich Smetana鈥檚 Vltava (The Moldau), a symphonic poem depicting Bohemia鈥檚 great Vltava river, alongside evocative works by Julie Giroux (Mystery on Mena Mountain), Judith Zaimont (City Rain), and Canadian composer Nova Pon (Tilting Sunward). Of special note will be the performance of Rescue by PEI-born composer E.K.R.
Atlantic Veterinary College Ice Cream Social
The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) is pleased to host its annual Ice Cream Social for AVC faculty and staff on June 20 at 2 p.m. During the event, the Dean's Awards of Excellence will be presented to four staff recipients nominated by their colleagues and peers in recognition of their contributions to AVC.

The AVC Career Fair is an opportunity for veterinary clinics and services to meet the DVM students and share their unique businesses with future veterinarians.
The fair will take place on October 1 from 11-4pm and is free of charge.

Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camp
The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) is pleased to welcome participants to our award-winning Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camps, taking place July 7 to August 1.
The four one-week camps offer junior and senior high school students a behind-the-scenes peek into the world of veterinary medicine鈥攆rom doing physical examinations on dogs and horses to learning how to dress like a surgeon and suturing on a silicon suture pad. You will be amazed at what you will see, learn, and do!
Atlantic Veterinary College | Awards and Recognition Night
The Atlantic Veterinary College is pleased to host our Awards and Recognition Night for our graduating Class of 2025, and faculty, staff, donors, and sponsors, on Monday, May 12, 2025, in the 精童欲女's Performing Arts Centre. The annual Green Hat Award will also be presented.
The reception will start at 5:00 pm, and the ceremony from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Attendance is by invitation.
