The School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences is seeking an Undergraduate Research Assistant to assist with analysis and communication of health survey data.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The purpose of this position is to analyze recent health survey data to summarize new knowledge related to adolescent music education across Canada. The chosen applicant will communicate with the research team to understand what aspects of the data are most important and will create summaries, visualizations, and infographics that effectively communicate what can be learned about music education from the new survey data. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong background in data analysis
  • Strong ability to analyze data and create visualizations in R
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to create infographics to communicate stories from data

Priority will be given to ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
