Game Day Coordinator (3) - Department of Athletics and Recreation
$17.05 per hour (+ 4% vacation pay)
August 15, 2024 – August 31, 2025
The Department of Athletics and Recreation is currently creating a list of energetic, outgoing, customer service focused team members to join our Panther Event Staff for the 2024-2025 varsity season. The Game Day Coordinator is important in creating and enhancing the atmosphere and overall experience of Panther Events.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Game Day primary contact for Teams, Officials, Facility, Fans and Emergencies
- Game Day Staff Leader
- Game Set Up/Tear Down
- Coordinate/Lead In-Game Promotions
- Work closely with Sports Information for requested Photos and Interviews
- Game Sheet/Score dissemination to Website, Media and AUS
- Game Video uploading to Video Exchange services
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Student enrolled in a program at ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®
- Understanding of all Game Day and Sport Specific related
- Information and requirements to ensure compliance and a positive Game Day experience
- Sport Background
- Strong Communicator
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, well spoken
- Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be comfortable in large crowds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (3-4 hours)
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions as some events are held outdoors
