The School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® seeks to hire Graduate Lab Assistants (maximum of 3 hours/week) for STAT1910 Labs during the winter 2025 Semester.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting in laboratories, and marking exams and assignments
  • Acting as a general resource person for students during the lab
  • Collaborating with the lab instructor to ensure labs are conducted accordingly
  • Successful applicants will be required to participate on a weekly basis for the duration of the winter semester

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be enrolled in a Graduate Program at ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®
  • Preference will be given to those enrolled in a program in the School of Mathematical & Computational Sciences
  • Must have an acceptable academic record
  • Previous experience as a laboratory/tutorial assistant is an asset

This position is covered by a Collective Agreement between the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®. Priority will be given to ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® students.
