The McDougall Faculty of Business at the 精童欲女 has openings for a sessional instructor for the Winter 2025 semester. Priority will be given to members of the MFoB Sessional Roster who applied for the position and met the qualifications. Full-time and term contract Faculty Members are encouraged to apply and may be considered. These positions are subject to final budgetary approval.

ACCT2020-2 Intro Accounting Part II 

Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:00-2:15pm

This course focuses on understanding and applying the accounting equation, recording transactions and preparing financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Differences between International Financial Reporting Standards and Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises will be highlighted. Sound ethical judgment for financial statement preparation will be stressed. Emphasis is on accounting from a "preparer's" perspective. 

Qualifications:

Successful applicants will have a minimum of a master's level degree along with demonstrated expertise in the course subject or equivalent with a combination of qualifications and experience. Priority will be given to applicants with a relevant PhD. 

For courses in Accounting, applicants must be a practicing CPA.
