The Environmental Studies Program at the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® has an opening for a Sessional Instructor to teach the following two-week intensive course in the Summer 2024 semester (May 20-31, 2024).  This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Please note: the course offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course.

ENV 2090/BIO 2090 – Integrated Watershed Management (Cross-listed)

This field course focuses on integrated water management at the watershed level with a focus on the Prince Edward Island context. The physical and biological characteristics of watersheds will be explored along with planning approaches, adaptive management strategies, watershed governance, as well as Indigenous perspectives.

This two-week intensive course runs Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. from May 20-31, 2024

Qualifications:

Successful applicants should have a minimum of a Master’s degree in an environmental or related field, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience in the subject area for the course. Applicants should have experience in teaching, research or practice related to the course content.

Preference will be given to the qualified candidates with seniority on the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Sessional Roster and full-time and term contract Faculty Members of the Academic unit.
