Nursing Stories and Songs by Kevin Ryan
You are invited to attend 鈥淣ursing Stories and Songs鈥 by Kevin Ryan, RN.
Nursing Stories and Songs is a tribute to the nursing profession and includes personal stories and original songs written and performed by Kevin.
Nursing Stories and Songs is meant for nurses, but anyone may attend, so bring a guest!
There will be two performances of Nursing Stories and Songs at the Steele Recital Hall on the 精童欲女 campus on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 4PM and 8PM. The performance runs about 60 minutes. You may attend whichever time suits your shift. No advance tickets and seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
(If turnout exceeds capacity, additional performances will be added at 530PM and 930PM.)
*Contingency date is Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 4PM and 8PM in the case of inclement weather.
Admission is free of charge!
Nurses in attendance will be offered an opportunity to participate in a research study as part of Kevin鈥檚 thesis for his Master of Nursing program. This would involve completing an anonymous online questionnaire following the event. Participation is 100% voluntary. You do not have to be part of the study to attend.
Please note: Nursing Stories and Songs will discuss themes familiar to nurses, such as death, suicidal ideation, horizontal violence, and judgment, as well as a reflection on the causes of compassion fatigue and burnout in nurses.
