The 精童欲女 Department of Athletics and Recreation is thrilled to announce that the 2023 Canada Games Legacy Fund has awarded funds to install lighting to enhance the sport and community experience at 精童欲女 Alumni Canada Games Place.

The project is a collaboration between the Government of Prince Edward Island, the City of Charlottetown, Holland College, and the University.

The installation of lights at 精童欲女 Alumni Canada Games Place, which includes a track and field facility and MacAdam Field, will bring numerous benefits to the community including

  • Extended playing time: Athletes will have the opportunity to train and compete during evening hours, maximizing field usage.
  • Increased accessibility: The addition of lights will extend the facility鈥檚 schedule and its ability to host diverse community events, improving accessibility and participation.
  • Enhanced spectator experience: Games and events can take place in the evening, fostering a vibrant atmosphere and better attendance.
  • Support for local athletes: Improved facilities will promote local sport development initiatives, benefiting athletes of all ages.
