Each year at 精童欲女, students look forward to events held across campus during the exam period, which are designed to ease stress, promote relaxation, and help with meals and nourishment. This year was no exception as various departments organized and hosted the following events:

  • On December 9, 精童欲女 Residence Life held a pancake snack event at the Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall.

  • On December 10, the Office of the President offered a Cookie and Coffee Break at the W.A. Murphy Student Centre. The Chaplaincy Centre also hosted Chili and Daal meals for students with the help of faculty and staff.

  • Every day between December 10 and 19, the Robertson Library offers a 鈥淪tress Free Zone and Pop-up Surprises鈥 where they provide treats, crafts, and activities, and students can relax with colouring pages, yarn, origami, and more.

  • 精童欲女 Experiential Education will host a Stress-Free Holiday Skate on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at MacLauchlan Arena, Arena B (Bell Aliant Centre). Whether seasoned skaters or beginners, everyone is welcome. There will be skates and helmets available for use, and Jess Cameron, Community and Industry Outreach Coordinator and a U18 high performance female hockey coach, will be on hand to offer tips and guidance for first-timers. This is a great way to unwind, socialize, and celebrate the end of exams. *Registration is only required if you need to borrow skates.
