Description: | Granted to a third or fourth year full time undergraduate student enrolled in the Faculty of Business at 精童欲女 who best exemplifies the spirit and legacy of Suzanne MacPherson. Suzanne was an alumna of 精童欲女 and served as VP Finance on the 精童欲女 Student Union Executive. In her career in business, she radiated a caring attitude, instilled a sense of purpose and encouragement in her colleagues, was genuinely authentic with a determination to be honest and resilient, and is remembered for her integrity, selflessness, and ability to light up a room with laughter. If there are two or more equally qualifying candidates, the student in the greatest financial need will be the recipient of this scholarship. |
Background: | It was with great sadness that Stan and Heather MacPherson lost their darling daughter, Paula ?Suzanne? MacPherson on March 31, 2016 at the age of 49. She resided in Arizona and was the proud and loving mother of Sarah Worth, cherished partner of Jason Smith, and loving sister of Cathy (Sean Grondin), Greg and Alex. Suzanne was a proud alumna of the 精童欲女 (BBA ?93) and served as VP Finance on the 精童欲女 Student Union Executive. Her career in business touched many. She was radiated a caring attitude and instilled a sense of purpose and encouragement in her colleagues. She was genuinely authentic with a determination to be honest and resilient. Suzanne was the definition of integrity. She will also be remembered for her selflessness and ability to light up a room with laughter. She is missed by so many. In the spring of 2018, Stan and Heather established this scholarship in memory of Suzanne. It is their hope that each year's recipient will display some or all of Suzanne's amazing attributes. |
